For David, improving infrastructure and logistics is one of the most important steps. The Serra do Salitre Industrial Complex is an integrated phosphate project in Minas Gerais. It comprises an open pit phosphate mine with over 350 million metric tons of reserves. The Complex has a production capacity of 1.2 million tons/year of phosphate concentrate; 950 thousand tons/year of granulated fertilizers; 1 million tons/year of sulfuric acid; and 250 thousand tons/year of phosphoric acid.
