SCPAR TO ALLOCATE BRL 17 MILLION TO IMPROVE PORT OF IMBITUBA ACCESS

The Ministry of Ports and Airports has authorized the use of part of the dividends from SCPAR Porto de Imbituba for improvement works on the South Access road in the municipality of Imbituba. This section connects BR-101 to the port through the Vila Nova neighborhood. The investment represents an infusion of R$ 17 million. It will be transferred by the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, through SCPAR holding (which receives dividends from the port), to the municipality to develop the project. Once the funding agreement is signed, the works are expected to be completed in 2024. The President of the Port Authority Council (CAP), Júlio Dias emphasized the importance of the council in moving the discussions forward and the positive partnership between the port and the city, which benefits everyone.
