Sugarcane, the most valuable commodity in the state, has boosted output by 2.2% so far in the 2023/2024 harvest. The harvested average was 76.8 tons of sugarcane per hectare last year, São Paulo’s sugarcane output today is 78.5 tons per hectare in the same region.
