PORTS OF PARANÁ TOOK PART IN THE 31st LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF PORTS

Victor Kengo, Portos do Paraná’s Director of Engineering and Maintenance, recently spoke at the 31st Latin American Congress of Ports. During his speech, he talked about the ongoing road concessions in the state of Paraná, as well as an upcoming project that will connect the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Foz do Iguaçu, and Portos do Paraná. According to Mr. Kengo, Paranaguá now has an operable draft of 12.8 meters. The present project for the concession of the Waterway Access Channel to the Port of Paranaguá, on the other hand, aims to attract BRL 1 billion in investments. This will enable the port to attain a draft of 15 and a half meters, allowing it to accept larger, heavier ships with higher productivity.
