PORTONAVE RECEIVES ONE OF LARGEST SHIPS EVER TO DOCK ON THE BRAZILIAN COAST

The APL Dublin vessel is one of the three largest containerships ever to dock at Portonave. The ship, owned by CMA CGM, is 347.2 meters long, 45.2 meters wide (beam), and has the capacity to carry 10,798 TEUs. The vessel left the terminal on Monday, March 27, with 2,655 thousand containers. The Port of Navegantes is firmly consolidated in the route of large vessels that sail across the Brazilian coast. In 2022, among the 632 ships that berthed at the terminal, 100 were equal to or greater than 330m, and only one was greater than 340m, the APL Yangshan vessel, with 347.5 meters in length and 45.2 meters in width, a similar size to that of the APL Dublin. The ship docked in November 2022 and was, until now, the largest in history ever received by Portonave.
