PORT OF SÃO FRANCISCO MODERNIZES ACCESS SYSTEM TO OPERATIONAL AREA

The Port of São Francisco do Sul has completed the installation of a new access control system for the operational area, providing greater efficiency, security, and comfort for workers and visitors alike. four general area control cameras have been installed, allowing the Federal Revenue Service to monitor the area remotely. Port President Cleverton Vieira expressed his pride in the project’s completion, stating that the work was completed in less than a month thanks to the dedication and technical expertise of the port’s team. The system’s integration with access gates for trucks further enhances its functionality, allowing drivers with fingerprints scanned upon entering the port complex and entering and exiting the operational area on foot, using the same system when necessary. On average, the turnstiles rotate 10,000 times daily, demonstrating the high volume of traffic the port handles daily.
