PORT OF ARROIO DO SAL MAY TAKE PART IN GREEN HYDROGEN ROUTE

Known as “the fuel of the future,” Green Hydrogen has emerged as a promising alternative for reducing carbon emissions. With countries worldwide striving to achieve decarbonization by 2050, numerous fuel production projects have been initiated to support this ambitious goal. The next critical step in this endeavor is the efficient transport of Green Hydrogen, and the strategic Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands holds a pivotal role as a central transit hub. In a favorable development for Brazil, the country boasts a connection to this port through the Port of Pecém in Ceará. This decision is motivated by Brazil’s immense potential to generate the raw materials necessary for producing a diverse range of bio-natural fuels, including Green Hydrogen.
