PETROBRAS MAINTAINS GASOLINE 17% LOWER THAN THE INTERNATIONAL PRICE

Petrobras has maintained the same rates for gasoline and diesel for 154 and 87 days at its refineries, respectively. Diesel is 9% less expensive than the worldwide price, while gasoline is 17% less expensive, according to the Brazilian Association of Fuel Importers (Abicom). The gaps drop to 16% and 8%, respectively, when Acelen and other private refineries are considered. Acelen sells gasoline with a 10% difference and diesel with a 7% price drop from the global rate. According to the ANP, the average cost of petrol at gas stations stayed the same, with diesel at BRL 5.93/l and gasoline at BRL 5.75/l.
