OPERATING LICENSE ISSUED FOR THE ANGRA DOS REIS PORT

Last Thursday (02), the decision of the State Commission for Environmental Control (CECA) was published in the Official Gazette of the State of Rio de Janeiro, which issues the Operating License (LO) for the Port of Angra dos Reis. With that, PortosRio Port Authority concluded, together with the State Institute of Environment (Inea), the process of renewing the environmental licensing for the Port of Angra dos Reis, which had been under analysis for 15 years, since 2007. The new Operating License is valid until the year 2031 and is in line with current environmental and port legislation, providing for maintenance dredging, which is the role of the Port Authority.
