MINISTER PLEDGES BILLIONS IN INVESTMENTS FOR PORT OF SANTOS AT INTERMODAL 2024

During Intermodal, Minister Silvio Costa Filho pledged significant investments of approximately R$10 billion in the Port of Santos, aligning with Brazil’s economic growth. He also announced R$80 billion investments in all Brazilian ports, R$15 billion in aviation, and R$4 billion in waterways. Notable achievements include Brazil’s GDP growth, job creation, and tax reform. Minister Renan Filho unveiled plans for auctions to boost the economy. Anderson Pomini, President of Santos Port Authority, emphasized the port’s importance, signing cooperation agreements with Portuguese ports and celebrating partnerships. Delegations from various countries attended the event.
