MATO GROSSO’S 2022/23 SOYBEAN CROP TO REACH 41.51 MILLION TONS

Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) released on Thursday (25) data on agriculture and livestock markets in Mato Grosso. Milena Habeck, who is responsible for agriculture profitability at Imea, said that Mato Grosso’s 22/23 soybean harvest is likely to reach a record output of 41.51 million tons, up 1.62% when compared to the previous season. Exports are expected to rise by 5.87%, estimated at 25.78 million tons. Sales of the 21/22 and 22/23 harvests reached respectively 83.93% and 25.51% in July 2022.
