CORN ETHANOL OUTPUT REACHES 4.23 BILLION LITERS

The sugar output in the first half of March totaled 15.57 thousand tons. From the start of the 2022–2023 harvest, 33.58 million tons of sugar have been manufactured, up from 32.06 million tons in the prior cycle (+4.74%). Brazil’s center-south region produced 264.58 million liters of ethanol in the first half of March, an increase of 57.44 percent. Anhydrous ethanol output totaled 99.79 million liters, while hydrous ethanol production came to 164.79 million liters (-5.08%) of the overall volume produced. During the same period, the harvest of 2021/22 saw a net reprocessing of 5.5 million liters.
