COPERSUCAR POSTS 56.9% PROFIT GROWTH IN 2025/26 CROP YEAR

Copersucar reported net profit of BRL 631 million for the 2025/26 crop year, up 56.9% year on year, while revenue rose 5.5% to BRL 65.8 billion and return on equity reached 35%. Associated mills processed 108 million tonnes of sugarcane, a 0.9% increase from the previous season. The group marketed 17 million tonnes of sugar and 21 billion liters of ethanol, maintaining its position among the world’s largest traders in both products. Pipeline operator Logum handled 4.9 million m³ of ethanol, while the BioRota biomethane fleet accounted for 14% of sugar truck shipments to the Port of Santos. Since April 2024, BioRota has completed more than 13,000 trips and transported over 600,000 tonnes of sugar. Copersucar also expanded its focus on ethanol as a marine fuel.
