COPERCAMPOS ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION OF AN ETHANOL PLANT WITH AN INVESTMENT OF R$200 MILLION

At the Copercampos Technological Show, President Luiz Carlos Chiocca unveiled plans for a R$200 million ethanol plant in Campos Novos, SC. The facility, developed by Lindner Techno Systems, will produce 3.7 million liters of hydrated ethanol and 32 million liters of anhydrous ethanol annually, using corn and wheat. The plant aims to manufacture DDGs, a feed by-product, generating 1,500 tons of oil and 15 GWh of energy yearly. It will process 250 tons of cereals daily, fostering economic growth and creating over 100 jobs. Construction begins within six months, targeting completion in two years. The initiative aligns with regional development and cooperative sustainability goals.
