Containers reached 81.3 thousand tons, an increase of 39.8% when compared to April last year. Other commodities were also handled in the port, such as sodium sulphate, soybeans, and soybean meal, malt, soda ash, iron ore, cellulose and saltpeter. A total of 24 ships landed in the Port of Imbituba in April.
