BUREAUCRACY FOR CITRUS EXPORT TO CHINA TO BE COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER

The Brazilian orange juice industry expects to complete all the bureaucratic procedures to export citrus pulp (CPP) to China by September, according to Ibiapaba Netto, the executive director of the National Association of Citrus Juice Exporters (CitrusBr). Netto said he had received confirmation from Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture about market-opening in China. Only a few procedures with the General Administration of Customs of China have not yet been fully completed, such as sending information about the exporting companies to the Chinese authorities. Ships will be loaded after all the documentation process, depending on the demand and the pace of business.
