BRAZIL’S COFFEE EXPORTS REACH 39.25 MILLION BAGS IN 2023

Brazil exported 39.25 million coffee bags in 2023, similar to 2022, but revenue dropped 13%. Shipments grew in December and H1 2023/24, though revenue declined slightly in H1. Despite challenges, Cecafé President sees last year’s performance as positive. Top destinations saw decreases, except for Japan (+27.4%). China surged to 6th place, importing 278.6% more coffee. Asia became the 2nd biggest importer (+46.2%). Santos port dominated exports (71.7%).
