BRAZIL’S ANEC SEES STRONG PACE FOR CORN, SOYBEAN EXPORTS IN NOVEMBER

The ANEC forecasts robust corn and soybean exports in November. The shipment of 8.3 million tons of corn is expected, a 53.7% increase compared to November 2022. Soybean exports are projected to reach 5.1 million tons, a significant growth of 168.4%. Surprisingly, soybean exports are expected to rise in the second semester, typically focused on corn. Soybean meal shipments are also set to grow by 69.2%, with sales reaching 2.2 million tons. On the other hand, wheat exports are estimated at 73.8 thousand tons, below the 116.8 thousand tons in November 2022. October saw notable increases of 36% in corn exports and 68.5% in soybean exports.
