BRAZIL’S AGRICULTURE EXPORTS REACHED A RECORD HIGH IN Q1 WITH AN INCREASE OF 4.4%

Brazil’s agriculture exports surged to a record high of USD 37.44 billion in the first quarter of this year, which is a 4.4% increase from the same period in 2023. The growth in the volume of products shipped, which went up by 14.6%, helped balance out the price drop. Sugar, cotton, and green coffee played a significant role in driving this growth, while corn, soybeans, and soybean oil saw reductions. As per the Ministry of Agriculture, the strong performance of these exports helped to offset the losses.
