BRAZIL’S AGRICULTURE EXPORTS HIT RECORDS IN OCTOBER

Agriculture exports hit a record in October 2022, reaching US$ 14.25 billion, up 61.3% from October 2021. Corn shipments stood out, with an increase of 301.7% in the period. The soy complex exported US$ 3.68 billion (up 49.6%), with an increase of 27.6%. International prices of products in the sector grew by 17.2%. The main export product was soybean (grain) with a record for the month of October of US$ 2.49 billion. Asia and the European Union accounted for 64.2% of the total value exported by Brazil in October.
