BRAZIL’S 2022-23 SOYBEAN SALES REACH 80.7% OF THE EXPECTED PRODUCTION, DATAGRO SAYS

According to DATAGRO, Brazilian sales of the 2022-23 soybean harvest reached 80.7% of the expected output, down from 84.2% in the same period last year, out of 96, 6% of the 2019-20 harvest record and down from the five-year average (88.8%). The monthly rise was 6.8%, which was lower than the previous month’s increase (7.8%) but higher than the average of 4.3%. Taking the production estimate of 157.07 million tons as a baseline, Brazilian farmers traded 126.78 million tons of soybeans up to the date of estimation. This output amount reached 109.95 million tons in the same period the previous year.
