BRAZIL: SEPT CORN SHIPMENTS EXCEED 5MT TO DATE

Brazilian corn exports reached a daily average of 318.8 thousand tonnes by the fourth week of September, 134.9% above the records of the same full month of 2021, according to government data released on Monday, Sept. 26. Cotton shipments grew 8.5% in the same period, recording a daily average of 7.24 thousand tonnes. Brazilian soybean shipments in the period fell 7.3%, with a daily average of 213 thousand tonnes. Iron ore exports saw a slight increase of 2.6%, with the country sending 1.63 million tonnes abroad daily. The average volume of oil exported by Brazil grew 37.8%, with 346 thousand tonnes per day in the first four weeks of the month.
