BRAZIL POISED TO MAINTAIN CORN EXPORT DOMINANCE UNTIL 2033

Brazil is projected to maintain its lead in global corn exports through 2033, according to USDA forecasts. The country’s soybean exports are also expected to surpass American production. Brazil’s dominance in these markets is attributed to factors like increased biodiesel production and favorable export projections. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, Brazil is anticipated to supply a significant portion of global soybeans, corn, beef, poultry, and pork. The US is shifting focus to domestic markets and value addition to soybeans. China’s changing consumption patterns, particularly towards beef, impact global trade dynamics. USDA remains confident in Brazil’s corn export leadership, although some debate surrounds current estimates.
