The expert Enilson Nogueira, chief analyst for agricultural markets at Céleres consultancy firm. recalled the production surplus could also result in increased shipments abroad. “If [the production record] is confirmed, and we have a long way to go, we foresee an outlook with Brazil exporting 49 to 50 million tonnes between late 2023 and early 2024, which would also be a record.
