BRAZIL IS ON THE VERGE OF COMPLETING WHEAT SOWING

Brazil is close to finishing this year’s wheat planting, with 99.7% of the crop already planted. According to Conab’s weekly bulletin, favorable weather conditions have allowed for the completion of sowing in Rio Grande do Sul. The crops in Missoes, Fronteira-Oeste, and Alto Uruguai regions have entered their reproductive phases, and the overall wheat crops in Rio Grande do Sul are progressing well. Most of the crops in Paraná are in the vegetative growth stage, with some already reaching maturity. The climate in the state has been favorable for the development of wheat, with most crops rated as good and only 6% rated as fair. Although there may be weather oscillations in the coming weeks that could hinder crop development, the current environment is favorable for wheat harvest in Brazil.
