BRAZIL HAS RECORD ETHANOL EXPORTS FOR JANUARY

Brazil exported 264.92 million liters of ethanol in January, a 160.6% yearly increase over the 101.65 million liters transported in January 2022, the most for the period since 2013. Ethanol was traded for an average price of USD 722.20 per cubic meter in the month, a 1.7% monthly rise. Revenue from ethanol exports increased by 181.1% to USD 191.32 million. The leading overseas destinations were the Netherlands (126.97 thousand liters), South Korea (82.14 thousand liters), Ghana (17.44 thousand liters), the United Kingdom (9.71 thousand liters), and Argentina (9.65 thousand liters).
