ANEC UPDATES BALANCE SHEET WITH OVERVIEW OF THE GRAINS EXPORT SECTOR

The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) issued a new statement on the outlook for grain exports amid the new coronavirus pandemic. In the note, the entity points out that all ports are operating normally, adopting the security measures established by Anvisa and WHO. According to Anec, between March 29 and April 4, 51 ships with soybeans were shipped, totaling 3.2 million tons of oilseed, in addition to 04 ships with bran, totaling 209 thousand tons. There were no corn shipments. Accumulated 01 °. on April 4th, soybean grain exports reached 1.5 million tons and bran exports 112 thousand. By the end of April, the entity’s schedule indicates the shipment of over 11.9 million tons of soybeans and 1.4 million bran.
