AGRO CARGO TRANSPORT AT THE VLI TERMINAL IN PORTO NACIONAL (TO) GROWS 22% AND BREAKS A RECORD DURING THE YEAR

The transport of grains and soymeal through the Terminal Integrador Porto Nacional (TIPN), in Tocantins, operated by VLI, surpassed the movement of 600 thousand tons in comparison to the previous year, a growth of 22%. Between January and December of the previous year, about 2.7 million tons were handled. The enterprise hit the milestone of 3.3 million tons up to October this year. The results are due to the agribusiness growth and the improvement of local production. Currently, the Porto Nacional terminal can handle up to 5 million tons of grain per year and store 60,000 tons of grain (including soy, corn, and soymeal).
