BOXSHIP DOCKINGS MARK NEW PHASE WITH REGULAR CALLS FOR ITAJAÍ PORT

A Maersk vessel docked at the Port of Itajaí on September 23, loading 200 containers of Seara products for export, signaling the return of regular container ship operations. Two MSC vessels are also scheduled to arrive this week for Seara shipments. JBS/Seara, which has taken over container operations at the port, has not officially commented but considers these dockings a “restart” for operations. The vessels are classified as “extra loaders,” and regular services, with five confirmed shipping lines, will commence on October 1, gradually increasing capacity through November.
