Sugarcane crushing in the Center-South of Brazil in 2024/25 should total 602.2 million tons, representing a drop of 8% compared to the previous cycle, StoneX estimated this Tuesday, 7th. The consultancy also projected 42.3 million tons for sugar production in the region (-0.2% compared to 2023/24), while total ethanol production should reach 32.1 billion liters (-4.2%) .
