The Sugarcane Technology Center (CTC) achieved a net profit of R$ 41.4 million in the third quarter of the 2023/24 crop season, representing a 23.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The net cash rose to R$ 510.5 million, a 19.4% increase. The company attributes the positive result to the sale of higher value-added varieties and increased contribution margins. Although net revenue remained virtually stable, there was an expansion in contribution margins. EBITDA grew by 12.6% and the EBITDA margin reached 49.61%. The quarter was characterized by increased productivity in the sugarcane fields and favorable prices for products, especially sugar.
