GASOLINE EXPORTS EXCEED IMPORTS IN BRAZIL FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2021

In October, Brazilian gasoline imports dropped by 64% to 271,900m³, reflecting a decrease in domestic demand, while exports reached the highest level in three years, totaling 439,430m³, surpassing imports for the first time since December 2021. The United States was the primary trade partner, representing half of the imports and receiving nearly 89% of Brazilian exports. Diesel imports from the U.S. matched the volume from Russia, totaling 1.02 million m³, with a 17% decrease compared to 2022. Petrobras set a record with 2.38 million m³ of S-10 diesel production in October.
