According to the ANP’s Monthly Oil and Natural Gas Production Bulletin for June 2023, Brazil’s total oil equivalent production reached an all-time high of 4.324 million barrels a day. Of this total, 3.367 million barrels were oil and 152.258 million cubic meters were natural gas. This surpassed the previous record set in February when production reached 4.183 MMboe/d. In June 2023, oil production increased by 5.2% compared to May and 19% over June 2022, while natural gas production increased by 5.4% over May and 14.6% compared to June 2022.
