Petrobras has concluded the terms for handing control of the onshore oil and gas production fields at Polo Norte Capixaba to the firm Seacrest Petróleo SPE Norte Capixaba Ltda, a Seacrest Bermuda Limited subsidiary. In addition to the various production facilities, Seacrest is now operating other four onshore fields at Pole Norte Capixaba. In the first three months of 2023, the four fields generated about 4,600 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 21,800 cubic meters of natural gas per day. The sum is equivalent to 3.3% of Petrobras’ Espirito Santo production. Petrobras received USD 426.65 million in cash at the end of the project, in addition to USD 35.85 million on the day the contract was signed.
