Soybean exports from Brazil should reach between 7.6 million and 9.7 million tons in February, compared to 9.1 million recorded in the same month of 2022, projected this Wednesday (8) by the Anec (National Association of Exporters of Cereals), in its first forecast for the month that marks the beginning of the largest shipment volumes of the oilseed in Brazil this year. According to the entity, in January, Brazilian soybean exports reached 944.4 thousand tons. ANEC updates its forecasts weekly based on port schedules, and the volume in this report is almost 23% lower than forecast in the previous week and 60% lower than the total shipped in January 2022 – an atypical month, marked by great anticipation of harvest and shipments.
