Paranaguá Port is investing BRL 6.8 billion to expand capacity, upgrade infrastructure, improve landside access and accelerate digitalization as it seeks to strengthen trade flows with Germany and meet European operational standards. Soybean meal shipments to Germany reached 558,000 tonnes in 2025, up from 457,969 tonnes a year earlier, while total exports exceeded 700,000 tonnes, valued at USD 406.5 million FOB. The program includes an SAP-based management system to improve cargo traceability, international certifications, automated cargo grading and weighing, and a green vessel initiative granting berthing priority to ships with lower environmental impact
