Brazil’s Port Authority of Santos (APS) signed a contract with the Portlog consortium to develop a 240,000 sq m logistics hub on the port’s right bank. The project includes a truck yard with an initial capacity of 400 parking spaces, expandable to support operations equivalent to 530 spaces, alongside 86,000 sq m of warehouses and logistics support facilities. Located near key port access corridors, the development aims to improve truck flow, reduce congestion and support growing container volumes, including future demand from the planned Tecon 10 terminal. Portlog has up to three years to deliver the infrastructure. The 20 year land lease requires monthly payments of R$289,000 to APS starting from the contract’s 36th month.
