CONAB increased its 2025/26 Brazil grain harvest forecast to 358.6 million tonnes, up 600,000 tonnes from the previous estimate and 1.8% above the prior season, supported by an 83.5 million hectare planted area and favorable weather. Soybean output was revised to a record 180.3 million tonnes, up 5.1% year on year. Total corn production is projected at 140.5 million tonnes, down 0.5%, with lower second crop yield expectations. Cotton lint output is estimated at 4.0 million tonnes, down 2.5% due to reduced acreage. Rice production is forecast at 11.1 million tonnes, down 13.2%, while bean output is seen near 3.0 million tonnes, down 0.5%; both remain sufficient for domestic demand and exports.
