Paranaguá handled 70% of Brazil’s soybean oil shipments in Q1 2026, totaling 386.3 kt, up 38% year-on-year. March share reached 75.3% (135 kt). In dry bulk, soybean exports hit 4.6 mt (+12% y/y), around one-fifth of national volumes. Soybean meal shipments reached 1.3 mt (25.6% share), with 700 kt loaded in March. Total throughput stood at 16.7 mt (-3.9% y/y), weighed by weaker sugar and corn flows. Fertilizer imports declined to 2.2 mt from 2.7 mt a year earlier, while malt (+227%), barley (+10%) and petroleum products (+9%) posted gains.
