The National Association for the Diffusion of Fertilizers (ANDA) informs that deliveries of fertilizers to the Brazilian market, in May 2023, were 3.96 million tons, meaning an increase of 21.9% in relation to the same month of 2022, when the volume reached 3.25 million tons. In the accumulated from January to May, 14.84 million tons were registered, with a growth of 1.5% compared to the 14.62 million tons of the same period of 2022. The State of Mato Grosso, leader in deliveries to the market, concentrates the highest volume in the analyzed period (25.6%), reaching 3.80 million tons. According to Anda, the national production of intermediate fertilizers ended May 2023 with 465 thousand tons, representing a decrease of 32.5%. Imports of intermediate fertilizers ended May 2023 at 3.20 million tons, representing growth of 2.7%.
