Due to a significant cut in the air network in the city of Santarem in March and April which will prevent the departure and arrival at the Port by means of commercial flights operated by large companies, the Boards of the Piloting Companies of Zp-01 propose the following measures in order to guarantee the continuity of the service: It will be up to the ships, agents and port operators to closely monitor the loading operations, considering all the externalities involved, such as, for example, the weather forecasts, the speed of the wake, the time spent by the crew in shiftting maneuvers etc., in order to estimate the completion of this operation with the greatest possible precision. Requests for new ships to ascend, departing from Fazendinha to occupy the berth occupied in Santarém, must be confirmed 24 hours before the forecast for the release of that berth, either at the CARGILL terminal or at the CDP terminals. Expected. with this, avoid the anchorage of waiting in Santarém, which may result in the relocation of idle pilots, in order to provide assistance in other points of the zp, optimizing the arrival of pilots by ships in the city. If it is necessary to climb a ship, to dock directly or even to operate at the anchorage, without the subsequent forecast of lowering to another ship, the pilots who climb will assume the commitment of the maneuvers and / or drops that appear later, safeguarding a period of up to 36 hours notice, counting from the moment they disembark from the ship on which they boarded. If there is no provision for activation in Santarém for pilots who comply with the 36-hour warning described above, they must return to Macapá, in a chartered flight in a KING AIR model aircraft, at the borrower’s expense, according to the contractual agreement between the pilotage and the policyholders. In the interest of piloting, the destination of this flight may be Belém, instead of Macapá, which represents a lower cost for the policyholder. If it is necessary to unberth a ship, for subsequent lowering or repositioning at the anchorage, without a schedule of pilots arriving in the city, boarding ships and, if the pilot crews have already been relocated after the 36 hour guard , it will be necessary to bring pilots to the city on a chartered flight, at the borrower’s expense. This flight must depart from the city of Macapá in a KING AIR type aircraft. In the interest of piloting, the departure of this flight may take place in Belém, instead of Macapá, which represents a lower cost for the policyholder. Chartered flight requests must take into account the schedules provided by the airline that charters the aircraft, their logistical and operational availability, and the pilotage is not responsible for such factors. For the purposes of this type of service, the confirmation rules are still valid with 24 hours in advance, however, the POB may be postponed due to the logistics of the airline, unrelated to the pilotage will. Cases omitted from the contractual clauses in force and not covered by these rules should be discussed between the parties, in order to guarantee compliance and mitigate the damage caused to all. As explained by the Boards of the Piloting Companies of Zp-01, these rules come into force as soon as they are accepted by the parties involved and will last until a new evaluation of the scenario requires different measures.
