USINA JACAREZINHO INVESTS IN SUGARCANE FIELDS AND PROJECTS 2.6 MILLION TONS OF SUGARCANE

Despite extreme drought, Usina Jacarezinho (Maringá Group) crushed 2.14 million tons of sugarcane in the 24/25 harvest — 16% less than the previous cycle. However, strategic investments boosted sugar production to 66% of output (182,000 tons), with 44% for ethanol (61,500 m³). The mill also produced 2,200 tons of yeast for animal feed and 86,409 MWh of clean energy, projected to hit 90,129 MWh by March 2025. With 7,800 ha of planted area, the goal is 3 million tons of crushing by 27/28. For 25/26, they aim for 2.6 million tons, 105,408 MWh of energy, and productivity gains through sustainable practices, organic fertilizers, and new harvesters.
