The TCU will get public notice for the first concession of a port access channel in Brazil. Silvio Costa Filho, Minister of Ports and Airports, will present it on Monday, 25, during an event in Paranaguá (PR). The project, which focuses on the Port of Paranaguá, is expected to cost BRL 1 billion to rebuild the channel’s infrastructure and boost national logistics. The first auction block of 2025 will also be launched during the event, with five areas available set on February 21, 2025. The event, which is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at the Taguaré Palace, will be hosted by Paraná Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior. Costa Filho will hold a news conference after the event.
