With a record proportion of 81.2% of national output, the Pre-Salt’s oil and natural gas output in September 2024 reached 3.681 million barrels of oil equivalent daily (boe/d), the highest ever recorded. Total production in Brazil was 4.539 million boe/d; natural gas output reached 169.92 million m³/day, a record increase of 6.4% over August 2024. With 3.470 million barrels daily, 3.9% more oil was produced nationally when compared to last month. The Tupi field in the Santos Basin produced the most, while FPSO Guanabara had the highest production at installation. Burning 97.9% natural gas, the flaring rate was 3.63 million m³/d. Petrobras accounted for 95.54% of the production.
