BRAZIL TO INVEST MORE THAN BRL 12 BILLION IN THE PORT OF SANTOS

Ministers Rui Costa (Chief of Staff) and Silvio Costa Filho (Ports and Airports) visited the Santos Port Authority (APS) headquarters on September 5. The Ministers reviewed growth initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, canal depth, perimeters, and the Santos-Guarujá tunnel with APS president Anderson Pomini. Costa Filho stressed the federal government’s port development and job creation efforts. Finally, the ministers and Pomini met with trade unionists to underline their commitment to maintaining and developing jobs and valuing the public pier and special cargoes.
