In the span of three weeks in August, Brazil registered shipments totaling 5,224,860.3 tonnes of unground corn (excluding sweet corn). This encompasses 70.16% of the total exported in August 2022 (7,446,091.3 tonnes). Market Analyst at Grão Direto, Ruan Sene, anticipates continued progression in Brazilian corn exports, with rising shipment volumes. “This month holds the promise of robust corn exports, possibly reaching between 7 to even 8 million tons. Expectations remain optimistic for the upcoming months as well. While some uncertainties persist, there’s a strong belief that the figures will be substantial,” Sene highlights.
