The Port of Suape in Brazil’s Northeastern state Pernambuco, recently welcomed a world-class container ship, setting a new record for the longest vessel ever registered in the region. The APL DUBLIN, a Singapore-flagged ship owned by the shipping company CMA CGM, docked at the port, measuring an impressive 347.29 meters in length and 45.28 meters in width, with a maximum draft of 15.5 meters. The vessel has the capacity to transport 10,700 twenty-foot equivalent units of containers (TEUs). The APL DUBLIN belongs to the largest class of container ships operating in Brazil. During its visit to Pernambuco, the vessel saw over 1,500 containers moved on and off its decks. “
