The special fertilizer market in Brazil recorded growth of 64.96% in 2021, with total sales of BRL 16.6 billion, according to the Brazilian Association of Technology in Vegetal Nutrition (Abisolo). The sector’s revenue increased in all categories of special fertilizers, with the greatest variation in organic fertilizers (up 130.8%), followed by organominerals (up 68.3%), and by minerals specials, with a growth of 57.9%. “Special fertilizers have already proven to be an effective technological alternative to increase efficiency in nutritional processes, and productivity, likewise it is an extremely competitive alternative, reducing dependence on fertilizer imports”, said the executive president of Abisolo, Clorialdo Roberto Levrero.
