Brazil published regulations governing interest rate subsidies for 2026/27 Crop Plan financing, establishing the rules for Treasury reimbursements to financial institutions. The framework covers rural loans contracted between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027, as well as working capital loans for agricultural cooperatives through Dec. 30, 2026. The program includes key credit lines such as Pronaf, Pronamp, Moderfrota, PCA, Prodecoop, Proirriga, RenovAgro and Inovagro. A total of 26 financial institutions are authorized to operate the subsidized credit lines, which total R$141.8 billion, including R$97.5 billion for medium and large scale producers and R$44.3 billion for family farming.
