Infra S.A. is expected to complete by the end of July a feasibility study for the Porto Indústria Corridor (Copi), a proposed highway linking the future third lane of the Imigrantes Highway directly to the Port of Santos. The 13.5 km expressway is designed to handle up to 20,000 vehicles per day with an estimated travel time of 10 minutes, easing truck traffic on the Anchieta and Cônego Domenico Rangoni highways. If the project proves economically viable, the federal government will begin talks with the São Paulo state government. The corridor is intended to improve port access, expand logistics capacity and support future growth in cargo throughput.
